§ 1.5. Nonconforming uses and structures.

  • A.

    All existing uses and structures which are conforming with the zoning requirements of the applicable jurisdiction at the time of adoption of the Development Code and map will not be made nonconforming as a result of adoption of this code.

    B.

    Any existing uses or structures which are not conforming with the zoning requirements of the applicable jurisdiction at the time of adoption of the Development Code and map shall continue to be viewed as non-conforming. Nonconformities will be governed by the applicable jurisdiction.

    Note that at the time of adoption of this Development Code by the city, only section 1.5A is applicable as there are no existing uses or structures within the city corporate limits that are not conforming with the zoning requirements in the plan area.
