§ 114-90. Designation of one-way highways.

  • The following streets or portions thereof are hereby designated as one-way highways upon which traffic shall move only in the direction indicated for each street or portion thereof and at which official traffic control devices shall be erected as required by law:

    (1)

    East College Street from North Main Street to a point 230 feet west of the centerline of Commercial Street.

    (2)

    West College Street, between Main Street and Second Street, westbound traffic only.

    (3)

    Commercial Street, between College and Hillsboro Avenues, southbound traffic only.

    (4)

    Herbert Place, southbound traffic only.

    (5)

    East High Street, between North Main and Kansas Streets except for a distance of 210 feet east of North Main, northeastbound traffic only.

    (6)

    South Kansas Street, between Vandalia and Schwarz Streets, southbound traffic only.

    (7)

    Oak Lane, between Center and Randle Streets, southbound traffic only.

    (8)

    Randle Street for a distance of 94 feet from St. Louis Street, westbound traffic only.

    (9)

    The alleyway located between 112 and 118 Hillsboro Avenue for a distance of 165 feet in a southerly direction from the centerline of Hillsboro Avenue, shall be northbound traffic only.

    (10)

    The alleyway from the 500 block of Jefferson Road between Hale Avenue and Sherman Avenue, northbound traffic only.
