§ 74-142. Trick-or-treating policy.

(a)

The practice of solicitation commonly referred to as "trick-or-treating" prior to and on October 31 is hereby requested to be limited in the following manner:

(1)

That such practice be limited to one day prior to and on October 31;

(2)

That such practice be limited in area to five blocks from the home of the person trick-or-treating; and

(3)

That such practice be limited to the hours between 12:00 noon and 9:00 p.m.

(b)

It is further requested that all persons, parents or legal guardians comply with this request to avoid the necessity of more stringent measures in regard thereto.
